Rumours of my demise

Apparently some of you were concerned that my website hadn’t been updated for some time. Rest assured, I’m still alive and kicking. While nobody is going to go out on a limb and tell me with any certainty what caused my little “episode” back in November, the classical migraine with neurological symptoms seems the most likely explanation. The symptoms have not been repeated and the various tests showed no abnormalities (beyond the dormant brain tumor) and no other pressing health concerns. I’ll be having an annual physical in May, and my next appointment at the brain tumor clinic is scheduled for October. I’m extremely busy at work these days, and in between working, sleeping and commuting (2½ hours every weekday) I’m not finding nearly enough time to do the things I want to do and be with the people who need me most. Maybe it’s time to step back and re-evaluate. After all, it seems I’ve been blessed with a lot more life than most in my situation. I should really do something meaningful. Don’t be surprised or alarmed if I don’t have another update for a few months. If any of you out there want to contact me, either e-mail me or leave a comment.
