Going independent

Another uneventful MRI scan, which is just as well because next month I will become an independent computer consultant, without the benefit of a long term disability plan. Apparently, although I’m not yet Dr Mason’s longest surviving GBM patient, my overall status is remarkable as I really don’t have any deficits and am living a completely normal life. Click here to see a comparison between two recent MRI scans. The slight difference in the images can be accounted for by variations in my head position during the scanning process. My next MRI scan and appointment with Dr Mason has been scheduled for November 2nd, 2000.
